With more than 15 years of experience in specialized tourism, our approach is grounded in firsthand knowledge of the destination. Juan Pablo, our founder, has lived in San Cristóbal Island, and over the years our team has developed an in-depth understanding of the islands, the logistics, the accommodations, the experiences, and the local partners that bring a journey together.

That experience shapes the way we work today. We do not simply offer what is available. We listen to what each traveler is looking for, then use our local knowledge to recommend the islands, hotels, cruises, excursions, and experiences that make the most sense for them. For every traveler who journeys with Smart Galapagos, we plant a tree in Ecuador's Andean region, including areas such as Cotopaxi and Parque Metropolitano.

Every tree is individually tracked through a QR code. You can discover its location, learn which species was planted, view photos, and follow its growth over the years.

And our commitment doesn't end with planting. If a tree dies while it is still young, it is replanted so it has another chance to grow.
